As part of the community of Asia and also ASEAN, we should be able to walk together with other countries in Asia. This purposed to improve life of Asia’s society. Because in the globalization era, we were very heavy, we have to compete with any other country in the world. If we are unable to compete so getting ready for our country will be exploited. This is really we do not want. Hence we need for synergy to all elements of the community of nations to face the onslaught of globalization. so that countries in Asia are not always being subject to exploitation of western countries. As students, we are required to be able providing solutions to the problems occured in the community. and establish relationships with other parties that could overcome these problems.

With the promulgation of AEC (Asean Economic Community) in Southeast Asia region, the distance among countries in Asean like nothing else. Indonesian people without difficulty can run over Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and others. Consequently, the relationship among the state, especially in ASEAN could be stronger. This condition is very advantageous if it is used to discuss the positive things that could improving the relationships with any other countries.

I am very interested in the presence of this international forum, which could be a platform to discuss current issues in ASEAN and also Korea. I hope my application will be accepted into this forum so that I can meet with caring and terrific students froum around ASEAN countries and also Korea. The Forum like this are very helpful to expand our network, to identify the culture of the other countries, and also to promote our culture to the other countries. I am pleased with the discussion forum like this. Through forum like this, I can contributed to my country. By contributing ideas and try to solve the problem together. Moreover, if the forum discussed widely and also attending by many different people from different viewpoints. It is expected that the resulting solution will be better as seen from many points of view.

Back to the problem. Currently, the problem occurs among Asean countries, especially those related to Indonesia as my country is the problem of the border (the seizure of the island) and illegal fishing. Indeed, this problem if unchecked will making the relations between Indonesia and neighboring countries may be disrupted. Because they relate to the sovereignty of the state. Each country will also feel he is the most correct triggering commotion among countries. Funny thing is, usually the harshest condemnation instead of from small community. Though, these issues can be discussed well by the officials of each country in diplomacy or maybe international court. But the people down too easily condemn or speak bad that maybe they do not know the root of the problem.

However, not all of people like that. Then through ASEAN forum like this, I would like to hear how the views of participants from neighboring countries about these problems (the border and illegal fishing). Then we tried to figure out how the appropriate solution. Then we tried to think about how the appropriate solution. Thank you..
